The Vandella's Dream Foundation a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization was established in 2007 by Canella and Eric Jefferies, one year after the passing of their beloved sister and sister-in-law, Vandella Nicole Williams-Johnson. Founded from a place of deep love and remembrance, the organization was created to honor Vandella's compassonate spirit and her unwavering devotion to children and family.

Above all else, Vandella was a devoted mother whose greatest joy was her three beautiful children, La'Khai Johnson, L.C. Johnson II, and La'Dreauna Johnson. They were the center of her world, and her love for them was evident in everything she did. Vandella believed in the power of kindness, generosity, and making every child feel seen, valued, and loved. Each year, the Vandella's Dream Foundation Annual Toy Drive provides toys, gift cards, and financial assistance to children and families navigating grief. Through the generosity of donors and community partners, we help create moments of happiness and comfort during a season that can often be especially difficult.
